I started this journey
As a mother of four and a natural educator, the idea of homeschooling first came to me in 2005. Concerns like bullying, limited parental involvement, and the lack of communication from overworked, underpaid staff made me question the traditional school system—especially as my child was already excelling in class and needed more support.
With prayer and determination, I took the leap into homeschooling. Learning the laws and responsibilities was new territory, but I embraced the journey and quickly saw the value of educating from home. I realized that parents are their child’s first teachers, and this path allowed me to teach not just academics—but life values rooted in faith, character, and purpose.
